Parcel Jacket — Deep Indigo (12 oz. Mitsui Mills, Japan)
Parcel Jacket — Deep Indigo (12 oz. Mitsui Mills, Japan)
The Parcel Jacket finds its place in the lineage of French workwear, drawing inspiration from 19th century painters jackets and the classic chore coat. We removed the top pocket for a pared down, elegant silhouette, while the prominent collar and ‘envelope’ hand warmer pockets preserve its utility. Five mismatched corozo buttons dating to the 1930s-1950s close each Parcel Jacket, making each one unique. These are a reworked classic full of character and built to be lived in.
This 12 oz. Mitsui Mills denim is crunchy and durable, while remaining flexible. This is a great denim if you want that vintage hand, and we expect a minimal break-in time.
