'Fulton' Seamless Overshirt | Size L
'Fulton' Seamless Overshirt | Size L
In the clothing world, there are two truths: Apparel is agriculture, and apparel is labor. That is, the fabric we wear comes from plants (hopefully), and all along the way, people use their labor to turn that plant into a functional piece of clothing. It’s an incredible transformation, a highly extractive process, and it’s a testament to what makes us human.
Our repurposing of antique “seamless” grain sacks draws those links closer together. Originally full with wheat, corn, and grains, the ‘Fulton’ Seamless Overshirt bears the markings of years of agricultural use. After each sack is washed four times, we take great care to cut & sew this garment in a way that preserves the beauty of its wear and incorporates imperfections. The ticking stripe—specific to the Fulton company—outlines the silhouette. Finally, antique cow bone buttons are batch dyed with black walnut to further honor this shirt’s agricultural roots.
The thick cotton cloth is a soft, plain weave with great texture. It’s already perfectly broken in, and makes for an incredible outer layer. It’s honest apparel ready to be passed onto the next pair of hands.
These fit true-to-size, though we recommend sizing up if you plan on layering heavily.
