The Carver Shirt is Made-to-Order with an estimated production time of 3-5 weeks.

Cut from our new overshirt block, the Carver Shirt is distinguished by two generous side-entry chest pockets. These pockets are commonly found on WWI smocks, which were sewn from sturdy twills and kept utility front of mind.

Our choice of English corduroy introduces warm, tonal hues that shift its styling into more elegant territory. The shirt’s body and sleeves are cut with the grain of the fabric for an incredibly soft hand. The chest pockets, however, are cut across the corduroy’s ridges, opening up the fabric’s full depth of color as it hits the light.

The shirt is fastened with cast metal buttons from Japan. Fits slightly oversized in shoulders and chest for layering.

We’re describing this color as candied yam, but, depending on the light, shows tones of rust and maple leaf orange.
