'Jon's Mash' Farm Team Jersey | Size XL
The ‘Farm Team’ Jerseys tap into the lineage of amateur & minor league ball clubs in America, which were often located in small, rural towns. Their uniforms regularly featured local business sponsors—dairies, banks, grocers—either embroidered on the backside, or, in the case of company-owned teams, emblazoned across the front.
For our jerseys, we collect flour, feed, and seed bags c. 1940s-60s, and incorporate them as the shirt’s left front panel. The reasoning is a double play; the textile as a tribute to these farming communities & the construction a nod to the logo placement on the pro uniforms of the era.
The ‘Jon’s Mash’ FT jersey features an American seed bag c. 1940s/50s. The cotton bag is lined with lightweight white linen for longevity, and paired with 5 oz. black linen.
