Elmer Cap in Indigo Japanese Denim
Elmer Cap in Indigo Japanese Denim
This summer, I found a children’s hunting cap c. 1960s at a roadside antique store. The bright orange vinyl caught my eye, but the shape won me over. It was sewn from just two panels and featured a useful little front strap. Sure, it was falling apart and didn’t fit me, but it’s hard to go wrong for $6.
Thanks to that hat and our good friend, Peter Larue (of the clothing brand, Tenant), we’re proud to introduce our new Elmer Cap. Like the original, this cap is simple & functional. We swapped vinyl for durable, raw Japanese denim. The fit is fine-tuned for a wide range of heads, and the inside is just as beautiful as the outside.
These are special caps—we’ve never seen one quite like it. Whether you prefer rest or recreation, we think the Elmer Cap will fit right in.
